Social Media Direction · Confirmed August 2026

Let's put the
real work
on show.

This confirms the content direction for CUS for the rest of 2026: more real orders, more of the team behind them, and a sharper focus on the corporate and trade customers you want to grow.

01 — Purpose

Making social media work harder for CUS.

The current content has created a trusted and recognisable presence for CUS. This confirms the direction for the rest of 2026, built around the business priorities agreed with the team and focused on the customers and order types you want more of.

★ What's Confirmed

Where we're
taking this.

02 — Where We Are Now

A trusted feed with more to show.

CUS already has a lot going for it online. The next stage is about pointing that same consistency at the parts of the business that aren't coming through yet.

★ What's Working
A Recognisable CUS Presence
  • Consistent CUS branding
  • Good product and service variety
  • Helpful ordering information
  • Some strong client and community imagery
  • Relevant seasonal reminders
★ The Opportunity
What The Feed Isn't Showing Yet

The feed currently shows what CUS sells more clearly than it shows:

  • The real orders being completed
  • The clients CUS works with
  • The people behind the business
  • The in-house production process
  • Why customers choose and return to CUS
★ Strong Foundations To Draw From

The story is already
there.

CUS already has strong foundations to build content from, and none of it needs to be invented.

03 — Confirmed Direction

Real orders. Real people. Real proof.

Content from here focuses on the three things that build trust fastest: what CUS actually delivers, who's behind it, and proof that it works.

★ Real Orders
Show The Work

Show who the order was for, what they needed, what CUS supplied and the finished result.

★ Real People
Show The Team

A meet the team series introducing each part of the business, like the sewing team, along with the knowledge and history behind CUS.

★ Real Proof
Show The Trust

Use client photos, completed work and genuine Google reviews to build trust.

Products will still be featured, but wherever possible they should be connected to a real client, order or practical need.

★ Growth Focus
Corporate & Trade First
  • Corporate workwear
  • Trade and tradie teams
  • Community organisations
  • Government work
  • Schools remain part of the mix, at a lower priority
★ Ordering Periods
What's Coming Up On The Calendar
  • Summer sport, still relevant but not a major push
  • End-of-year school requirements
  • Leavers jackets
  • Christmas deadlines and closures
  • 2027 planning
★ For Suitable Orders

What the team
will capture.

04 — How We'll Work Together

Getting the real content flowing.

Real client content only works if it's easy to capture and easy to plan around. Here's how that will run day to day.

05 — Email & Reviews

Making more of the database and the reviews.

CUS already has a customer database and a sign up form on the website that aren't being put to work. There's an easy win here through Mailchimp, alongside a simple way to grow Google reviews.

★ Email Ideas
What We Could Set Up In Mailchimp
  • A re-engagement journey to clients who haven't ordered or been in touch for a while
  • Seasonal promotions tied to ordering periods like school terms, sports seasons and merch drops
  • Reconnecting the website sign up form so new subscribers actually land in Mailchimp
  • A simple welcome email for new sign ups introducing CUS
★ Reviews & Social
Turning Orders Into Reviews
  • Google review QR codes added to packing slips
  • The same QR codes added to email order confirmations
  • Social handles included alongside them, so clients can find and tag CUS
  • Every completed order becomes a chance for a review and a follow
06 — Next Steps

Where this goes from here.

  1. Corey starts capturing real orders. Corey begins photographing completed orders, and Lauren shares the content calendar so key dates can be added directly.
  2. Email and reviews get set up. We work through the Mailchimp ideas together and get QR codes for Google reviews and social handles onto packing slips and email confirmations.
  3. Content shifts to match the new focus. The mix moves toward corporate, trade and real client work, with a meet the team series introduced alongside it.

Let's finish 2026 strong.
